Static and dynamic balance is a fundamental ability. Measuring instruments of dynamic balance and ability to recover it during great global movements of the body usually are lacking of information on its reliability and are not specifically created to measure strategies used by children to maintain balance during the movement. The aim of this study is to verify Eight-Balance Test (EBT)’s reliability, a new instrument to measure the dynamic balance in children, analyzing test repeatability and inter- and intra-observers concordance. Results show a good concordance both for time spent, both for penalties done. From this first study, EBT seems to be an objective and independent from observer instrument.
