The stucco production at Old Nisa has been only marginally studied. Anyhow, recent excavations have discovered some new fragments of sculpture both in clay and stucco, along with double-moulds in gypsum mortar that shed new light on technique for the manufacturing of scultpures. Morphological examination and elemental composition analysis analyses were also carried out and are discussed in the article.
