Abstract
At present the effect on chronic hormonal treatment of normal mammary glands is not known. However, it is thought that high levels of androgens can cause both stromal sclerosis and epithelial atrophy and might provoke fibrocystic mastopathy. The authors describe their own histological studies performed on mammary glands of two women. They underwent mastectomy for transsexualism after prolonged treatment with testosterone.File in questo prodotto:
