The present invention also concerns a method for the diagnosis of malignant cell growth comprising the measuring the expression of PI3Kβ gene. The invention concerns also non-human transgenic animals as model study for human pathologies, preferably breast cancer, being transgenic for having altered PI3Kβ and Neu-T expression.

Abstract
