The authors examined 98 fecal samples of pigs regularly slauthered and living in different farm of the Piemonte region. The researches performed using an in vitro immunochromatografic commercial kit and the electron microscopy are only a preliminary work on viral zoonosis transmitted by pigs used in xenotrasplantation. Our study revealed a totally absence of viral particles.
