The Organising Committee for the XX Olympic Winter Games - Torino 2006 (TOROC), in order to spread a social responsibility culture and to guarantee a heritage to the sports event, aimed to promote actions to safeguard the fundamental human rights and to improve the stakeholders life quality, focusing on environmental, social and economic aspects. The present paper, after a deep analysis of the main International Olympic Committee (IOC) and TOROC reference documents, evidences how the Games sustainability was obtained through ethical, social and economic engagements and performances.

Abstract
