Misure di sostegno del reddito a Torino: analisi dei percorsi delle famiglie dentro e fuori l'assistenza

Aim of the paper is to analyse the careers across the social assistance system of families of able bodied poor who receive income support in Torino. In this paper we study the probability of being subsidized for a second time after the end of the first welfare spell. In particular, we try to address whether this probability is related to the duration of the subsidy. In order to take account of the way social workers in charge of granting operate, a mixture model has been employed. Empirical results show positive dependence for men and no dependence for women headed households.
