The females of S. caroxylella Falkovitsh, S. fasciata Falkovitsh and S. haloxylella Falkovitsh are described here for the first time. Furthermore, the new genus Falkovitshella gen. n. is established; subsequently, seven Scythris species have been transferred to the new genus: S. ammobia Falkovitsh, S. asema Falkovitsh, S. asthena Falkovitsh, S. hypolepta Falkovitsh, S. mongholica Passerin d’Entre` ves & Roggero, S. pediculella Bengtsson and S. physalis Falkovitsh. S. parafluxilis sp. n. is described from Mongolia. Separate keys for scythridid males and females of the the Eastern Palaearctic species described by Falkovitsh are given too. Again, the phylogenetic relationships of the species placed in the Falkovitshella genus are analyzed.

Abstract
Again, the phylogenetic relationships of the species placed in the Falkovitshella genus are analyzed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
