The doubly differential cross-section d2σ/dQ ηdT η for η production on boron by 1 GeV proton interaction has been measured as a function of the η kinetic energy. The experimental results are compared with the prediction of a folding model. The η production is underestimated by the theoretical calculation of about a factor 2.

Abstract
The doubly differential cross-section d2σ/dQ ηdT η for η production on boron by 1 GeV proton interaction has been measured as a function of the η kinetic energy.
