Nosocomial infections represent a clinical and economical issue in both developed countries and not, with an incidence ranging from 2.3% to 12.6%. We analyzed the prevalence of HAI (Hospital Acquired Infection) in our 462 beds children hospital (Ospedale Infantile Regina Margherita) in Turin, in order to identify potential risk factors associated. Diagnosis of HAI was based on criteria of Centers for Disease Control of Atlanta (CDC).
