Tension type or migraine headache can be one of the many different manifestations of coeliac disease. Our aim is to study the prevalence and the characteristics of primary headache in a paediatric population with coeliac disease, compared with two control groups, one with dyspepsia and one free from gastrointestinal disorders. Our study shows that there's not a significant association between headache and coeliac disease. Infact children with coeliac disease don't have an increased risk of having headache compared with the two control groups.
