Abstract
The inhibitory effect of some glycosaminoglycanes on the crystal growth rate of calcium oxalate monohydrate was examined using the Constant Composition Technique (CCT). The calcium oxalate monohydrate was employed as a model of dental calculus. The better result among the studied compounds was obtained with N-carboxymethyl-Chitosan, habitually used as humectant and antiplaque, which could be employed as synergizant of anticalculus tooth-pastesFile in questo prodotto:
