The paper provides an analysis of the works of G.B. Niccolini without neglect the contradictions and the elements of continuity that characterized his production. Playwright, poet, linguist and classicist, he knew in life a great popularity, and was able to conduct a personal journey of research and style that is not yet fully reconstructed.
