Abstract
An electron transfer reaction between two polycharged anions is studied in the presence of SDS/ 1-butanol/toluene/brine microemulsions. A simple three-pseudophase equilibrium model is able to predict the observed rates in regions of the phase diagram where the homogeneous solution is structured. The comparison of kinetic data and the prediction of the model gives information on the hydration of the surfactant and of the cosurfactant, and reveals clearly if free-water domains are present in solutionFile in questo prodotto:
