Abstract
A study of the ν(CO) spectra of six M5 trigonal bipyramidal cluster carbonyls shows that the patterns observed are consistent with the postulate that the bridgingspectra are more structure-sensitive than are the terminal ones. A qualitative suggestion is made concerning predictions for species with bridge CO groups with significantly different ν(CO) zeroth-order frequency differences.File in questo prodotto:
