Abstract
In edentulous subjects, sleeping without dentures favours the occurrence of OSA. Dentists generally recommend to remove dentures during the night, since constant wearing can increase the risk of denture irritations, periodontitis and other abnormalities. Our findings suggest that in patients with OSA the advantages of removing dentures should be weighted against the risk of worsening respiratory disturbances during sleep.File in questo prodotto:
