Abstract

In this paper we present an implementation of the Mean Value Analysis algorithm for the solution of BCMP (Baskett, Chandy, Muntz et Palacios) product form queueing networks models. These type of networks may be closed, open, or mixed. Two important aspects of nthis paper are the presentation of a unified approach for the solution of this class of BCMP networks, and the extension and consolidation of the results of the work of many authors that have been active on this topic.
