Abstract
The interest for the study of morphological and metric characteristics of the human body and proportions of its parts, has ancient origins. Reflecting on the specificity of anthropometric research, it is clear the importance of detecting in a standardized way the measures of the human body. Into the introduction of the UNI EN ISO 7250-1 Basic human body measurements for technological design-Part 1: “Body measurement definitions and landmarks” it is argued, in fact, that the welfare of people strongly depends on the geometrical relationship with the various elements of the artificial environment, such as clothing, jobs, transportation, housing and recreational activities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
