The chapter explores the idea of creativity and the problem of its possible emergence. This question serves the A. to reflect upon the ideas of freedom and autonomy within modern and contemporary ages, which are dominated by the scientific and technological tendency to interpret human beings as the result of deterministic laws. This chapter investigates in what sense human creativity is irriducible to any deterministic explanation of human beings and therefore it reaffirm freedom and autonomy as the philosophical, moral and legal premises of human responsibility.
