[Geographical studies of the climate in Brazil and Italy: the rhythm as paradigm] The notion of climatic rhythm proposed by Sorre in the first half of the XX century, developed and applied by Pédelaborde in the second half of the same century, was introduced in Brazil by Monteiro, whose production has been supporting what we call the “Brazilian School of Geographical Climatology”. Abstract

The scholarship granted to me by the Brazilian Government (CNPq/MTC) allowed the achievement of my post-doc internship in Italy, in the University of Turin, under the coordination of PhD Fratianni, as well as an extensive listing of the main climatic Italian works and specially of the geographical production influenced by the paradigm of the rhythm, there introduced by Pinna.
