This article aims to present the service of expressive therapy from Turin - Italy department of mental health . The Expressive Therapies privilege speech as the primary access key to be, to understand, to relate, to commu nication and dynamic deep; currently levied at different levels: the cognitive, the body, the expressive and behavioral; act ing with therapeutic rehabilitation and resocialization, emotional adjustment, of introspection, of stigma reduction and prevention of discomfort. In this sense , the expression is the key of communication. Express itself brings people the opportunity to know themselves and to freely explore their own "dark territory", the experience of which can facilitate the communication of your int ernal world with the external world, creating a space for communication and dialogue between the two parts. In fact, the expressive activity constitutes in that important area of intermediate experience that contributes the giving and the becoming to giv e meaning to existence through the rediscovery of their own uniqueness. The Expressive Therapy Service consists of five different modules characterized by various mediators artistic (art, theater, dance, music and psychomotricity ), all organized according to our model. In this article we will deepen the model tested and studied for twenty years in our Department and its application in the theater workshops
