Os centros de saúde mental na Itália

This article aims to present and discuss the Mental Health Centres’ activities from Orbassano and Grugliasco. The Centre of Mental Health (CSM) is the center of developing the therapeutic project and is based on the territorial structure of psychiatric care and the organization of activities that contribute to the health of people who goes to the Department of Mental Health (DSM). The programs and interventions are not restricted to those with severe mental disorders and problems, but everyone in cycles and stages of their lives, they experience more or less prolonged states of anxiety, sadness, panic and anxiety. The activities developed in Mental Health Centres are varied as home visits, working with individual and family therapy, and group activity, enabling interventions and prevention, support for access to social rights and opportunities, supporting household activity consulting, support activity provided by nurses and telephone support.
