Departamento de saúde mental: serviços de atendimento no território

This article aims to provide care services in the territory of the Region Orbassano and Collegno-grugliasco (cities of the province of Turin, Italy). In Italy, since the enactment of the law n º 833/78, which included the closure of psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric care became increasingly centralized in the territory. The territorial services are: Mental Health Centres Orbassano and Grugliasco, Crisis Centre “L’Accoglienza”, Residential Facility "Barocchio", Residential Facility "Bonacossa", Accommodation Units of Orbassano, Collegno and Grugliasco, Therapeutic Foster Family Care Service, Day Centre of Collegno, Day Centre of Orbassano, Residential Facility "Chiarugi" and Expressive Therapies Services. It is a departmental organization that allowed a practical response to the needs of the territory. All these facilities and services, integrated with and managed by private associations, offer solutions for the individual needs of patients; needs that are defined and organized in therapeutic-rehabilitative individual project.
