This is the 28° ornithological report of the GPSO, a series which, all together, spans over 30 years. Selected data concerning migrating, wintering and breeding birds, collected by GPSO, are given in systematic order. The most prominent data include: Phoenicopterus roseus, Elanus caeruleus, Neophron percnopterus, Aegypius monachus, Aquila pomarina, Aquila fasciata, Aquila heliaca, Tetrax tetrax, Phalaropus fulicarius, Stercorarius pomarinus, Larus cachinnans, Larus hyperboreus, Melanocorypha calandra, Anthus richardi, Luscinia luscinia, Acrocephalus agricola, Sylvia conspicillata, a hibrid Ardeola ralloides and Bubulcus ibis. The report also contains the results of wintering wildfowl censuses.
