Synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome is a group of sterile, inflammatory osteoarticular disorders frequently localized at the anterior chest and axial skeleton associated with skin manifestations. The diagnosis of SAPHO syndrome is not difficult when the typical osteoarticular lesions are located in specific target sites. Its early diagnosis is important to avoid antibiotic treatments for long time and unnecessary invasive procedures. We report a case of this syndrome in a young man with multiple fractures and uncommon orthopaedics symtomps with review of the relevant published work.

Abstract
Synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome is a group of sterile, inflammatory osteoarticular disorders frequently localized at the anterior chest and axial skeleton associated with skin manifestations. The diagnosis of SAPHO syndrome is not difficult when the typical osteoarticular lesions are located in specific target sites. Its early diagnosis is important to avoid antibiotic treatments for long time and unnecessary invasive procedures. We report a case of this syndrome in a young man with multiple fractures and uncommon orthopaedics symtomps with review of the relevant published work.File in questo prodotto:
