This paper gives an extensive overview of the methodological challenges encountered in creating the European Parliament Interpreting Corpus. Moreover, it presents preliminary results from a lexical study, which analyzed lexical density and variety in all of the 6 dub-corpora making up the EPIC corpus, inclusing comparable and parallel analyses of the data sets.

Abstract
