A study is presented on the 'in vitro' sensitivity of seven antifungal drugs (cyclopyroxolamina, nystatin, miconazole, clotrimazole, tioconazole, econazole, isoconazole) through the use of the Sensitivity Testing Table, on strains of Candida isolated in 140 patients of both sexes, aged between six and seventysix, with: onychomycoses of the hands (55 cases) and feet (12 cases) vulvovaginitis (10 cases), balanoposthitis (15 cases), oral Candidosis (22 cases), cutaneous Candidosis on the feet (2 cases), hands (1 case) and general skin (3 cases). The significance of the statistical analysis was established by the χ2 method. The study reveals the greater validity of nystatin, tioconazole and clotrimazole than the other antifungal drugs examined.
