The Authors report a case of cutaneous cryptococcosis arising in an 82 year old woman after an accidental injury. The histological specimen revealed cytoplasmatic inclusion in histiocytic cells; culture on Sabouraud's media allowed definitive identification of Cryptococcus neoformans. Treatment with amphotericin B and flucytosine permitted recovery in twenty days.
