The therapeutic activity of a new imidazole derivative, fenticonazole, was evaluated in 19 patients affected with seborrheic dermatitis with presence of Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare). There was a gradual regression of the dermatosis with excellent results at the end of the therapy.

Abstract
