Abstract
Graffiti-writing as anti-art is, following Badiou, the only expression of the historic avant-garde which is left in our completely homologated world. Graffiti reveal two elements of the avant-garde: the “spirit of the proposal” and “the passion for the real”. Graffiti as artistic gesture of the avant-garde disclose a desire for reality and not for signification. Comparing Badiou and Beckett, the article identifies in the graffiti-writing and in the muralism an alternative in dealing with the urban walls: museum projects and “resigned regressions”.File in questo prodotto:
