Abstract
The publication of the Novelas ejemplares by Cervantes is also, after the success of Don Quixote I, a way to asserting his supremacy as author in the Spanish recon-figuration of a genre at that time foreigner to Spanish literature. That much can be decyphered as implied by the usual strategies of indeterminacy, far capire and understatement in his foreword to the reader. Cervantes places himself as head of the Spanish avantgarde in the wake of the Italian novellieri raccolte translated to date into Spanish with which his work engages different intertextual relations. The article tries to show some hints that could allow to suppose that in this map of the intertextual dialogue between Cervantes and the founders of the Italian brief narrative genre Bandello occupies a privileged place.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
