During the last past years, more interest has been given in the nutritional management of patients affected by tumours. Many studies in human literature have shown that the supplementation of ω-3 fatty acids plays an adjuvant role to inhibit the growth and metastasis of tumours and to prevent cancer cachexia. The aim of this study was to analyse the efficacy of ω-3 fatty acids to improve nutritional conditions in dogs treated for lymphoma with chemotherapy.

Abstract
