A careful reading of Wang Guangyi's poetics requires exploring the ways of philosophy and metaphysics, especially the kind that addresses the issue of truth and the thing itself. In this way, one can find not only the reasons for the thought embedded in Wang Guangyi's works, but also those for the irreducibility of art and philosophy. This irreducibility is expressed by the Chinese artist with the awareness and maturity, foreshadowing the possibility of a new contemporary art.

Abstract
A careful reading of Wang Guangyi's poetics requires exploring the ways of philosophy and metaphysics, especially the kind that addresses the issue of truth and the thing itself. In this way, one can find not only the reasons for the thought embedded in Wang Guangyi's works, but also those for the irreducibility of art and philosophy. This irreducibility is expressed by the Chinese artist with the awareness and maturity, foreshadowing the possibility of a new contemporary art.File in questo prodotto:
