Open source is now a real socio-economic system, which encompass different business models, where the use of open source responds primarily to the needs of efficiency, functionality and development. At the same time the exchange relationships with users and communities are an asset for the company's growth. In the last decade, with the advent of Web 2.0, different forms of peer production have been integrated into corporate strategies, resulting in different productive organizational models that are now included in the more general term of Wikinomics Entrepreneurs who develop open source software and create products, applications and Web 2.0 services, pursuing a strategy of innovation collective, cooperative and open. For these, more than for others, innovation has been an opportunity to respond to the economic crisis, overcome difficulties, obstacles and uncertainty through co- working and co - innovation practices. The ability to combine technological innovation with social innovation through the implementation of communication processes open to dialogue and knowledge sharing process with the different actors and users that would be able to create a virtuous circle useful for the development of a territory.
