The article analyses the body of evidence related to the storage and administration of food in Parthian Nisa (Turkmenistan), according to the results of the recent excavations of the Italian archaeological expedition. A new corpus of clay sealings, khums (big jars for storage) and ostrich came to the light in the so-called South-Western Building between 2007 and 2015.
