The present empirical research has been undertaken in continuity with the studies launched, as of 2007 , to elaborate didactic settings (Fenix method) in order to encourage the scholastic success of students who live in environments with multiple risk factors. The latter affect an important section of students in our contexts, with even higher percentages in southern hemisphere countries. In Italy, the proposal for the most part concerns students who have non-specific learning difficulties, related to hypo-stimulation (linked to socio-cultural deprivation, poverty, migration). Within the context of the current study, targeted didactic courses have been elaborated, focusing on the typical difficulties of the subjects under consideration. The project, known as Fenix, has involved the structuring and implementation of experimental interventions that use ludic-multimedia material and careful didactic mediation, aimed at encouraging the cognitive and motivational reinforcement of students in difficulty. The features of the programme have been described in detail in the previous chapter. In the present chapter, on the other hand, we will analyse the global and differential incidence of this intervention, after briefly summarising the research plan.
