Quality and Environmental Evaluation Methods for Metallic Materials Industry

The article presents some original quality evaluation methods for Metallic Materials Industry (MMI). We also present categories of environmental performance indicators. They should therefore be cost-effective and appropriate to the size and type of organization and its needs and priorities. The paper considers the main methods of technical-economical analysis of the quality of the metallic materials industry. We focused mainly on specific analysis models which are presented and analyzed. Both the analysis methods for products (A) and the ones for companies (B) are presented in comparison. The main results consist of the correlation between the technical – economical analysis methods and the mathematical models used. Our article also presents the main categories of environmental performance indicators: comparability, balance between problematic (bad) and prospective (good) areas, continuity, timeliness, clarity, operational performance indicators, management performance indicators, environmental condition indicators.
