In the present article I discuss the methodological criteria adopted by J.A. de Buxis for the editio princeps of Apuleiusʼ De deo Socratis (Romae 1469) and I prove that the manuscript used is close to C (Cambridge, Corpus Christi College 71, saec. Xii) and H (London, British library Harley 3969, saec. XIV), and not to B (Bruxelles, Bibliothèque Royale 10054-10056, saec. IX), even though ten years earlier the editor collated and amended this last one in the library of N. Cusanus.

Abstract
In the present article I discuss the methodological criteria adopted by J.A. de Buxis for the editio princeps of Apuleiusʼ De deo Socratis (Romae 1469) and I prove that the manuscript used is close to C (Cambridge, Corpus Christi College 71, saec. Xii) and H (London, British library Harley 3969, saec. XIV), and not to B (Bruxelles, Bibliothèque Royale 10054-10056, saec. IX), even though ten years earlier the editor collated and amended this last one in the library of N. Cusanus.File in questo prodotto:
