This paper provides the first in-depth survey of the unpublished notes on the Odyssey by Basil Chalcondyles, written around 1514 AD and preserved in their autograph draft in manuscript D 120 sup. of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana (Milan). In the appendix, a full transcription of the commentary on the first book of the Odyssey is provided (fols. 7r-28r).
