This essay intends to affront the question of human action in the Maurice Blondel’s thinking, the auctor of L’Action. Essai d’une critique de la vie et d’une science de la pratique (1893). The arising issues are between two poles: the single human action and the supreme action of openness towards the divine transcendence and consequently the necessary intersection between them. Blondel’s theory is focused on the idea that the action is the man as a whole who creates an incessant movement that is at the origin of his constitution as a single man. This can be realized trough the synthesis of the knowledge, of the will and the being. This process is possible only by taking into consideration the logical principle that the action is the incarnation of the man’s purposes to which he freely adhere. The main question is to which extent is morality concerned with the human logical action? My intention is to demonstrate, through the analysis of Principe élémentaire d’une logique de la vie morale (1903), how the moral action is necessary guided by one logical criteria and how the adherence to this criteria leads to the last Truth.
