Today the fitness instructor considers his client as a psychophysic-holistic whole. Frequently, however, he proposes methods and motorial programs choosing among an ever growing number of different specialities, often following a trend. This sector would need therefore a proper classification of all the fitness specialities with the aim of guiding the instructor in the selection of the physical exercise: he would then be able to propose and teach his “athletes” organically suitable techniques in order to obtain physical efficiency and well being. The purpose of this study is to try to divide up and organize the specialities of fitness in homogeneous areas. This will be the starting point for the educational path of a different instructor, who will be able to suggest methods and give motorial programs exploiting and using all the areas of fitness.
