This paper presents the oral testimonies of two survivors of the dramatic events of the last months of the Second World War who lived traumatic experiences diametrically opposed, albeit from the same family context. The stories, reconstructed on the basis of autobiographical narrative interviews, take place seventy years after the events narrated and concern the episodes that have affected the protagonists since January 1945 in East Prussia. The purpose of these recordings and of the investigation is to give a voice to the survivors of the world war and to offer an example of linguistic-discursive analysis. The testimonies will be analyzed with the aid of concrete examples, to reconstruct the space and escape routes of one of the protagonists.
