The focus of this article is an unknown Italian - Serbo-Croat military dictionary written by General Giovanni Ferreri, while its aim are: to date as accurately as possible its publication; to reconstruct the author's biography; to provide both an analysis of the dictionary's macro and micro-structure and examples illustrating its contents; and, given that it is now a rarity, to examine the circumstances of its production and publication.
