Prevenire la violenza sessuale: fattori psicosociali alla base della legittimazione della violenza. Analisi di un percorso di formazione

The paper proposes the development and the evaluation of the training program within the European project «USVreact: University supporting victims of sexual violence». Questionnaires filled in, at the beginning and at the end of the program, by the trainees from the University and the Polytechnic of Turin (n = 172 at T1) were aimed to evaluate any change, due to the training, in terms of: perception of what is violence, perception of justice / injustice in our society respect equal opportunities, acceptance of the rape myths, bystander attitude to intervene. The data show that, after the training, the participants modified their perception of what is / is not violence and their acceptance of rape myths; they also expressed an increased propensity to provide help. Finally, some considerations are given on future training development
