Il vangelo di Marcione e la formazione del 'vangelo tetramorfo'

The article presents the recent debate on the Gospel of Marcion, its relations with the Gospel of Luke and its role in the formation of the tetratetramorphic Gospel proposed by M. Klinghardt in a volume published in 2015. Klinghardt deals with the problem of the relationship between the Gospel of Marcion and that of Luke, and, reversing the traditional thesis, based on the reports of the Christian heresiologists, he says that it was not Marcion who modified the Gospel of Luke, but Luke who reworked an older text, the Gospel used by Marcion. Starting from this assumption, Klinghardt redesigns the process of formation of the tetramorphic Gospel in a new way, placing at the origin the Gospel of Marcion, the oldest Gospel, on which all the others depend, and at the end of the process the Gospel of Luke. The article discusses the different aspects of the reconstruction of Klinghardt, proposing some critical observations and suggesting further research perspectives
