A Cammino around the city: the case of the "Path of the Po River’s hills" in the MaB Unesco site of Turin The development of a large hiking area for Torino is an opportunity to promote the connections between city and nature, between urban areas and rural areas. It is a project that puts in relation and integrates different territorial systems and contributes to the dynamics of transformation of the city, thanks to the intermodality and new experiences of approaching nature. These elements were crucial in the preparation of the dossier for the candidacy of the metropolitan areas of the Po and the Collina Torinese to be acknowledged as Biosphere Reserve of the MaB Unesco programme.
