The SCINTILLA project (Innovative Scenarios of Tele-Training for Work Inclusion in Liguria) supported by the Region of Liguria (Italy) has set out to study how new technology can be used to support work inclusion processes for people whose mobility is impeded by congenital or acquired physical disabilities (commonly referred to as “homebound”). This paper deals with one of the key aspects of the project, namely how to train educators whose task it is to train and support young homebound people in preparation for employment using the “smart work” approach. To this end the paper describes the training programme undertaken in SCINTILLA and focuses in particular on the assessment model adopted for evaluating outcomes and impact, which is inspired by Kirkpatrick’s four-level evaluation model.

Abstract
The SCINTILLA project (Innovative Scenarios of Tele-Training for Work Inclusion in Liguria) supported by the Region of Liguria (Italy) has set out to study how new technology can be used to support work inclusion processes for people whose mobility is impeded by congenital or acquired physical disabilities (commonly referred to as “homebound”). This paper deals with one of the key aspects of the project, namely how to train educators whose task it is to train and support young homebound people in preparation for employment using the “smart work” approach. To this end the paper describes the training programme undertaken in SCINTILLA and focuses in particular on the assessment model adopted for evaluating outcomes and impact, which is inspired by Kirkpatrick’s four-level evaluation model.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
