La enseñanza de español en la Facultad de Magisterio de Turín (1936-1970)

La Facultad de Magisterio fue, junto a la de Economía y Comercio, pionera en la introducción de la enseñanza universitaria de español. En este trabajo se determinan las características y los protagonistas de la enseñanza de español en la Facultad de Magisterio de Turín. El periodo analizado cubre cuatro décadas, desde 1936 hasta 1970. Para ello, mediante la consulta de las actas del Consejo de Facultad y de los fascículos personales en el Archivo histórico de la Universidad de Turín, se lleva a cabo la identificación de los docentes, el tipo de cargo o plaza que ocupaban, así como las funciones que desempeñaban. Al mismo tiempo, los registros de clase del periodo estudiado, 1936-1970, permiten identificar los textos empleados para la enseñanza de la lengua y de la literatura, manuales, gramáticas, diccionarios, obras literarias, etc. El trabajo consiste, por tanto, en crear un mapa de datos biográficos y bibliográficos de la enseñanza del español en la facultad turinesa de Magisterio y tiene también la finalidad de servir de base esencial para posteriores trabajos de investigación en este ámbito. The Magistero Faculty of Turin was, together with that of Economics and Commerce, pioneer in the introduction of Spanish university education. The objective of this work is to account for the characteristics and the Teaching staff of Spanish in the “Magistero” Faculty of Turin. The period analyzed covers four decades, from 1936 to 1970. To do so, by consulting the minutes of the Faculty council and the personal fascicles in the Historical Archive of the University of Turin, teachers will be identified, together with the type of position they occupied, as well as the functions assigned to them. At the same time, the class records of the period 1936-1970 allow to identify the texts used for the teaching of language and literature, manuals, grammars, dictionaries, literary works, etc. The work consists, therefore, in creating a map of biographical and bibliographic data of the teaching of Spanish in the “Magistero” Faculty of Turin and it will serve as an essential basis for further research work in this field.
