The chapter gathers together some of the findings of the RePers project in relation to possible improvements in the implementation of Framework Decision 2008/909/JHA, particularly in light of the Italian, Romanian and Spanish experiences and perspectives. The analysis addresses the main phases of the cross-border transfer procedure, from the identification of the potential transferee to the decision on recognition and the possible overlap with other procedures, such as the European Arrest Warrant.
