The paper aims at showing the usefulness of the NUNC-FR corpus for analysing linguistic facts of Computer Mediated Communication, with its peculiarities of blending written and spoken aspects of language. The acronym NUNC (NewsGroups UseNet Corpora) indicates a suite of multilingual corpora developed at the University of Turin, providing the linguistic community with recent written data of a particular form of textual interaction.
